Officers had been searching for Emma Sillett, 41, and Jenson Spellman after her vehicle was spotted close Valehouse repository, Tintwistle, on Thursday.
The match, from Dinting, Derbyshire, was most recently seen on Tuesday at a McDonald's in Hattersley, Tameside.
Police trust nobody else was associated with the passings and said after death examinations will happen later.
They were accounted for missing at about 23:35 GMT on Tuesday, the Derbyshire constrain said.
